Character Biography

Physical Appearance

Anyaka is a truly massive kaldorei, all height and width. She's brawny and grizzled, with green hair and scarred green skin. Dark tattoos obscure her eyes, good and bad. Her face is disfigured by the horrific infection scar surrounding her right eye. Half of one ear is missing, and the other has several clipped marks taken from it. It's easy - and accurate - to describe the big elf as bearlike.

History

Anyaka was born in Winterspring a bit more than ten thousand years ago. While she was aware of the war, she was protected by her mother - a woman who later became a sentinel of some rank. Growing up, Anyaka bounced blithely from duty to duty. For a while, she aided her father in his work teaching hippogryphs to speak and interact with elves. She spent a lot of time exploring and wandering, until her mother put her first glaive in her hand and glared, about nine thousand years ago.

Anyaka's history with the Sentinels is a rough one. While the massive elf certainly has the fighting ability, she lacks the discipline and grace of a Sentinel. She has been in and out of training almost constantly since those days. The big woman was always inclined to patrol silent forests and care for trees, but she certainly wasn't one of the rare females who trained in the male path of druidism. Anyaka was always a protector - of her people and her forests.

She fought, when war came, with the other sentinels. She never set herself apart from her sisters. After the battle of Mount Hyjal, when many sentinels became druids, Anyaka went with them.

Anyaka has earned the rank of Justicar, which she wears with pride.

Personality

Anyaka is a rather old fashioned kaldorei, frequently seeming standoffish or arrogant. She's painfully quick to speak her mind and aggressive in her pursuits. Tough and ancient, she's very self confident. She is particularly unpleasant to young kaldorei who are not behaving as a night elf should, warlocks, and death knights.
