Physical Appearance

(Copied from my MRP because I am lazy.)

Oliver's tall stature and heavy plate armor make for an imposing presence. Or at least they would, if not for his demeanor, which is atypically warm for a Death Knight.

Despite its appearance, he has made no attempts to conceal his face. The elements were less kind to the left side than the right; his usual smile twists into a skeletal grin barely held together by the decaying remains of the previously underlying muscles. Across his forehead are multiple circular scars, and his left eye has no eyelid, leaving it wide open at all times. He appears to have died in his early fifties, and beneath the decay, it's apparent he may have once been a fairly handsome man.

Chained to his belt is a moldy libram adorned with faded runes and a Silver Hand insignia; were he to be caught gloveless, the same symbol can be seen tattooed on the back of his right hand, now covered by various necromantic runes. His left ring finger is missing, and over his right ring finger is a simple iron band. Around his neck he wears a black canvas bandana.

His speech is simple; a thick, country drawl matched with short words and incomplete thoughts. He does not open his mouth to speak, his voice instead a hollow echo.

History

Farmer, soldier, Paladin of the Silver Hand. Also a husband and a father, though regrettably a bit of a nonentity in his family members' lives. Fairly unremarkable life other than his status as a member of the Order.

Doesn't talk much about himself, particularly of his service in the Scourge.

Overall a friendly guy, he doesn't seem to mind the fact that he's dead; in fact, it's often the source of his own personal amusement, making himself the butt of his own unfunny (don't tell him that) jokes. Was a paladin in life and continues to hold his ideals in death. Faithful, remarkably selfless.

A rather simple man. His speech patterns and mannerisms give him away as someone of little education, though he's not necessarily unintelligent, as is evidenced by his tactical genius on the battlefield and general insight.

He's not without his darker side, turning maniacal in the heat of intense combat. Because of this he avoids pointless conflict as best as he can, remaining a passive and neutral figure. Would prefer a fight to end in diplomacy.
